I Have Not Heard from My Family in Sixteen Days!
Family War Mariupol Ukraine Help
March first was the last time I heard anything from my family in Mariupol. My uncle told me that he is hiding with my mom and brother in a bomb shelter and that is it... Since that time, I tried to call my family but their phones are discharged. My only hope (besides praying to God) is different group chats on Facebook and Telegram where people are sharing information about Mariupol and begging for help. I check those chats every day just in case someone posts about my family or any other good news.

Unfortunately, I am still not sure how my family is doing but I do not give up my hope. All I know is that I miss them so much and planning to bring them to a safe place soon.
Situation in Mariupol as of Now
Mariupol is in a very catastrophic situation. About 80% of the city has been destroyed. People are rarely going out of their shelters right now because it is very dangerous. Every street is being bombed from the sky at least 50 to 100 times a day! People almost have nothing to eat and they melt the snow, so they have something to drink. There is still no electricity, heat, water, food, and connection. People are gathering together once a day to make a meal and then they go back to their somewhat safe shelters. Many children are ill and there is no medication to help. Two of the hospitals were bombed by the enemy and doctors in one of the only hospital are not able to save so many wounded people they are receiving every day. The only grocery store that was open and the only source of some food was also destroyed by the enemy. One of my favorite places in Mariupol -- the Drama Theater was also bombed. That place served as a shelter about thousand people including children. How many people survived is still unknown. Here is a video from a family that escaped Mariupol.
The things that people in Mariupol are going through is truly heroic and heartbreaking. I have anxiety every day for my family's health and safety. I do believe and feel that they are ok and when I hear from them, I will relocate them to a safe place.
Please Help
If you feel touched by my story and the story of people in Mariupol, please help my family. I am asking for donations to their fundraiser that you can find under Donate button. The money 100% will go for the food, medications, shelter, transportation, and other needs of my family.
Like always, I want to say a Huge thank you to all of you who reached out to me already. Thank you for your prayers and support. I cannot do it without YOU, my family cannot do it without YOU.
Please stay tuned for my future posts.
