Meet My Mom
Hi, My Name is Katya. I am a Single Mom with a Child Who has Disabilities. Due to the War in my Country, I Lost my Home.
Little Background
I was born in Ukraine and lived there until May 2022. Due to the war, I had to escape my home country and settle in a foreign country. In Ukraine, used to work two part-time jobs and wake up early at 5 a.m. before my son had to go to a special education school. I was not fortunate to receive higher education, so I am doing my best to provide for my son and me. My son has several disabilities, so I spend a lot of time helping him to speak, to behave, and to develop his talents.
Fun Facts
Growing up, I had to take care of my twin brother, so I quickly learned how to cook, clean, sow, and do projects around the house. I am an excellent cook and enjoy experimenting with food. My dream is to travel one day to Italy.
I am a Christian and love to help others. On my Facebook page, I support an organization that helps children with disabilities in Ukraine.
